III Conference on Competition and Regulation in the Telecommunications Market: The Impact of 5G on EU Competitiveness

The III Conference on Competition and Regulation in the Telecommunications Market addressed the Impact of 5G in EU Competitiveness. Regarding 5G and EU Competitiveness, it was stated how competition significantly contributes to the competitiveness of the EU economy, enables growth, efficiency and stimulates innovation. Two round tables were held. The first one, titled "Towards a Single European Market in Telecoms", shared the points of view of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (Berec), GSMA, the European Wireless Infrastructure Association and Kauffman &Partners. The second round table, titled "5G Deployment: State of the Art", had DG Connect, Cellnex and the European Telecommunications Network Operators? Association (ETNO) as discussants.
